Tanya Hawthorne was lying in a hospital bed, her newborn baby in the cot beside her, when the strange looking woman in a brown coat peered round the curtain.
'Sorry,' she said. 'I was just looking for the way out.' Thinking nothing of it, Tanya closed her eyes and fell asleep.
